⚠️ AI Boss Sports Pick Update — April 6, 2026
Karl-Anthony Towns (right elbow), who was listed as questionable and missed Friday's game vs Chicago, has been CLEARED from the injury report and is confirmed playing tonight vs Atlanta. He practiced Sunday and was removed from the injury report ahead of the Hawks-Knicks 7PM ET tip.
Two player props were generated with KAT's absence as a primary rationale. With KAT now confirmed active, those picks no longer carry the same edge and have been replaced.
REMOVED: Jalen Brunson Over 25.5 Points (-111)
The original pick rationale explicitly cited elevated Brunson usage if KAT was limited or out. With KAT fully healthy and starting, Brunson returns to his standard usage split. The edge is gone.
REMOVED: Jalen Johnson Over 7.5 Assists (-121)
The original rationale was that KAT's absence would remove the Knicks' primary interior threat, forcing scramble defense and creating extra playmaking opportunities for Johnson. With KAT in the lineup, New York plays standard scheme. Johnson's assist total reverts to a normal distribution — insufficient value at -121 juice.
🔥 NEW PICK #1: Donovan Mitchell Over 25.5 Points (+100) — 61%
Mitchell poured in 38 points Sunday vs Indiana and averages 27.8 PPG on the season (8th in NBA). Memphis ranks 22nd in defensive scheme rating (RotoGrinders). Cavs are in a back-to-back but Mitchell's scoring load is consistent regardless. Best available price: +100 (near even money) — genuine value at this number.
🔥 NEW PICK #2: Stephon Castle Over 7.5 Assists (~-115) — 60%
Castle averages 7.5 APG in recent form and is the primary ball-handler when Fox runs off-ball actions. With Philadelphia missing Johni Broome (OUT, knee) and Cameron Payne (OUT, hamstring), the Sixers' half-court defense is compromised. Castle will be free to push pace and find Wembanyama in transition and pick-and-roll. Clean injury report for San Antonio.
